Tips

The beach houses are located directly on the beach, at Strandslag 2A (beach entrance 2A) just at the south of the boulevard of Kijkduin. Nearby navigation address: Machiel Vrijenhoeklaan 175 in The Hague. You arrive at the nearby parking area. From there you can walk through the dunes, please follow the signs ‘HaagseStrandhuisjes’.

Parking in Kijkduin is free. There are two electric charging points for electric cars situated at the beach entrance 2A.

For public transport: Take Bus 24 from The Hague Central Station to ‘Kijkduin’ (Kijkduin). Exit at the final stop ‘Kijkduin’.

You can check into your beach house from 3:00 PM onwards. Approximately one week before your arrival, you will receive an email containing the PIN code for the key safe located next to the door of your beach house. You can use this code to open the safe and retrieve the key. Please keep the key with you for the duration of your stay; there is no need to check in at a reception desk.

Please, swipe the floor when leaving the beach house on your day of departure. Leave the beach house before 10 am on your day of departure. Please return the key to the key safe and remember to reset the code to 0000. Thank you!

Luggage

In every beach house there is a beach wagon, for the transport of your luggage.

– beach towels (bathing towels are already in the house)
– groceries such as trash bags, extra toilet rolls, toilettries, coffeecups (Nespresso), tea, spices and so on.

If you need anything, you may find it at a small shopping area at the boulevard of Kijkduin.

WiFi
WiFi is available at your beach house.

Information folder
In the information folder in your beach house you will find suggestions for activities in the area, bike rental and useful information such as doctors, pharmacies and house rules.

Beach wheelchair
At the Biesieklette you can hire a special beach wheelchair. More information you can find on their website.

In the rental contract, you will find the house rules to ensure a pleasant stay for yourself, your fellow guests and the environment. Pets and smoking are not allowed inside the beach house.
